Why privacy matters: We won't post your elopement without asking.

Most wedding venues would love a great photo of your day for their feed. We understand why, it's good marketing. But it's not why couples come to us, and it's not something we're willing to trade away.

You came here to get away from an audience.

If privacy wasn't important to you, you'd probably be planning a traditional wedding with a guest list and a photographer working the room for content. The fact that you're eloping tells us something. Youwant this day to belong to you, not to anyone watching it happen, and not to anyone scrolling past it

afterwards either.

Posting your Raglan elopement without asking would undo the exact thing you came here for.

So, here's how we actually handle it.

We ask before we post anything.

  • Not a blanket form you sign and forget about, an actual conversation. If you'd rather your day stay completely off our social media, it does.

  • If you're happy for us to share a detail or two, styled shots of flowers or the view, we'll check exactly what you're comfortable with first.

  • Faces, names, and identifying details stay out unless you say otherwise. Your day is yours to share, or not, on your own terms.

  • The elopement photographs are yours and your photographers. They are not ours to share.

This isn't just policy. A lot of what we do here at Box on the Hill is built around the idea that this is your priavte elopement moment, not content. No guests, no schedule, no performance for anyone else. Privacy is just that same principle applied to what happens after the day ends.
