Q: Can we stay without getting married?
A: Absolutely. The Box is on Airbnb.
Q: What is the accommodation like?
A: The Box is a studio space with everything you need for a couples retreat. It has a combined bedroom, lounge and kitchenette as well as a modern en suite. Outside is a private deck and garden with outdoor seating and a BBQ. It is peaceful and unplugged (no wifi).
Q: Do we need to bring linen or towels?
A: No. Everything you need is provided.
Q: How far in advance should we book?
A: We take bookings up to 6 months in advance through Airbnb.
Q: What is your payment and cancellation policy?
A: Airbnb takes care of the payment and it includes the cleaning fee. You can cancel up to 3 days prior to your stay for a full refund. Anything closer to your stay than that is non-refundable.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: We offer a weekday price and a weekend price. There is a 10% discount for a 7 night stay. The price includes what we charge per night starting from $115, a $40 cleaning fee for the stay and the service charge that Airbnb charge.
Q: How do we check in? What time?
A: You will be provided with a code to get your key and can let yourselves in anytime after 2pm. If eloping as part of your stay check in can be earlier. Check out is 10am.

Q: How far away is Raglan and the surf beach (Manu Bay)?
A: Raglan is a 20 minute drive away. Manu Bay is 10 minutes further out of Raglan.
Q: Can children or pets stay?
A: Box on the Hill is just for you both. Sorry but no extra people or furry friends.
Q: Is The Box part of your home?
A: The property is one hectare and we live on site. The Box is attached to our garage and is not accessed by us. It is completely private.
Q: Is there Wi-Fi and mobile phone coverage?
A: Currently we are an unplugged stay. Mobile phones can be patchy (depends on your provider)
