Q: What is included in an elopement?
A: We have two packages. One is simple and one is more curated. More details are on the elopement page.
Q: Can we visit Box on the Hill to help us decide if it's right for us?
A: Yes absolutely but please pre-arrange a day and time with us. Alternatively we can chat over zoom.
Q: How do we book an elopement?
A: Chat about which elopement package is best for you both and get in touch to discuss the details. Choose the dates you would like and we'll handle the rest.
Q: Can we have our elopement any day of the week?
A: Absolutely! We offer elopements all seasons, any day of the week. We include a discount if you choose a Sunday to Thursday.
Q: How far in advance should we book?
A: Preferably as soon as you can but at least 4-6 weeks in advance.
Q: What is your payment and cancellation policy?
A: To secure your elopement date we require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining 75% is due 30 days prior to your elopement date. If an elopement is cancelled within 30 days we're unable to offer a refund due to reserved suppliers and preparation time undertaken.
Q: What if unexpected circumstances come up?
A: Please reach out and we will work with you on the best options.
Q: Can we bring guests, children or pets to our elopement?
A: Elopements are just for you both. Sorry but no extra people or furry friends.
Q: What if it rains on our elopement day?
A: We can move the time, we can move it indoors, you can get married in the rain if you like.
Q: Is the marriage legal?
A: Yes, absolutely. When you book we will take you through how to apply for your marriage licence.
Q: Do we need to plan anything, contact any suppliers?
A: No need, we do all of that for you. But you will meet via zoom with your marriage celebrant in the weeks leading up to your elopement to plan the ceremony.
Q: Do the packages include a photographer?
A: No. We can recommend local photographers. They will have their own pricing, policies and availability.
